Under general direction, the Chief, Division of Solid Waste Management plans, organizes, and directs the operation of the Division of Solid Waste Management of the Department Waste Management and Recycling. 1. Plans, organizes, and directs the work programs in the various sections of the Division of Solid Waste Management. 2. Maintains liaison with, and coordinates plans and projects with state, federal, county and local agencies in the field of waste removal and disposal. 3. Directs, controls, and reviews progress of planning, construction, and maintenance of waste removal and disposal facilities. 4. Meets with various groups to discuss projects, programs, and activities of the Division. 5. Advises the Director of Public Works on the feasibility of pr
